How do I create and invite my clients?

You can create and invite clients from the Clients page in your sidebar. There are 2 ways to create and invite clients:

1. Invite clients individually

2. Import multiple clients from a .csv

 

Importing clients individually

On the Clients page, click +New in the upper-right corner and select Create one client. This will open a modal allowing you to input the client's full name, email address, and company (optional).

The modal will then show the invite link and a button to Send email invite. You can copy the invite link shown here and send manually via email, SMS, or whichever method you prefer. You can also click Send email invite and an email invitation will be sent to the client.

 

Importing multiple clients

To import multiple clients at once, click +New in the upper-right corner and select Import many clients. You'll then be taken to the client import page. There are a few steps to successfully import clients, they are outlined in our client import article here.

 

What if I did not invite my clients when creating them, but want to invite them now?

If the Invite client modal is closed without copying the link or sending the email invite, or if you choose Import only when importing clients from .csv, the client(s) will be created but they will not be invited immediately.

 

You can send them an invite at any time by clicking the action button (...) to the right of the client and choosing Invite client from the dropdown. You will then be brought to the modal where you can copy the invite link or send the email invite.
