What's the difference between a blog and the Knowledge base module?

Content in the Knowledge base is only accessible by your client users. Unlike a blog, which anyone can access and is used to drive traffic to your website, the Knowledge base is intended for clients only.

Companies use the Knowledge base for many different purposes. For example, some see their Knowledge base as a value-add service that they can charge for. Others use it as a help desk to save on support time.
